What Would Be On Your Gravestone? by Jane Thurnell-Read

I read in my local paper about a man called Donald Yeomans, who died recently, aged 85. Up to two years before his death he was a great collector for charity. He would dress up in fancy dress and stand in the local High street, collecting money for a host of different charities. For the last few years of his life he lived in a local retirement home.

The owner of the home commented:

He was a lovely chap, always willing to help others. He was a very contented man .."

I think this is a fantastic epitaph. What would you like yours to be, and equally important what are you doing to ensure that you get the epitaph you want?
