A fifteen-year-old girl with severe epilepsy came to see me. She had been epileptic since the age of seven. In spite of taking the drug epilim, she was still having five to six fits a week. I used several different health kinesiology procedures on her.
Part of the work I did was to help her body to recognize chromium as a nutrient and cadmium as a toxin. Chromium is involved in maintaining correct blood sugar levels, which are vitally important for the brain, and cadmium is a very toxic metal. Fortunately health kinesiology has a simple procedure, the SET technique (Symbiotic Energy Transformation technique) that is very effective at correcting these sorts of problems. It seems as though the body has in some way got itself confused and is labelling a beneficial substance (in this case chromium) as harmful and a harmful substance (in this case cadmium) as beneficial. The SET is a simple, gentle, powerful procedure that works with small vials of the problem substances and uses the acupuncture energy system to rebalance things. It doesn’t use needles, and in fact many clients fall asleep while this is being done.
As a result of her HK sessions over several months she eventually she became fit-free and was able to stop taking the epilim.
A few years later her father rang me asking me if I would see her urgently as she had started having fits again. When she came to see me, she told me that she wasn’t taking any medication and had been free of fits for over 2 years, but that she had experienced 7-10 fits in the previous week.
I asked her if anything had changed in her life recently and she told me the only thing that had changed was that she had had her tongue pierced two weeks before. I used muscle testing to establish that that had triggered the epileptic fits again. She was reluctant to stop wearing her tongue stud, and fortunately there is another HK procedure going by the rather gruesome name of Electric Current Correction that I was able to use. This may seem bizarre, but it appears that the combination of metal and saliva creates a weak battery, that can interfere with the proper functioning of the brain. After doing this she had no further fits.
